The Worship Ministry
The worship ministry at First Baptist Church is focused on the singular intent of Encountering God in a real and practical way. We do that primarily through corporate worship experiences that are designed to lift up God through music, prayer, and biblically grounded messages. Our worship service starts at 10:15 am. You are welcome here!
Zephaniah 3:17 says,"He (God) will rejoice over you in song. He will bring you quietness with His love. He will delight in you with shouts of joy!" Music has a way of drawing us closer to God and awakens feelings in us that have lain dormant for some time. Music is used as a tool for ministry here at First Baptist. Rehearsals are led by our Music Minster, Danny Granstaff, and are held on Wednesday Evenings, 7:00 to 8:00 pm.
Our prayer teams are at work every Sunday during the worship services and throughout the week. If you would like to be a part of this undergirding ministry, contact Gene Low or Karen Dodson -- or call at the church office at 270-395-4600.
Recorded copies (CDs) of our worship services are available by contacting the church office at 270-395-4600.
